I’ve been working on something really exciting for the past few weeks. This weekend, I had the honor of giving a presentation on the Four Pillars of Alzheimer’s Prevention to the support group I’ve been attending for almost three years. This group is through the Alzheimer’s Association and is geared toward the so-called sandwich generation: those of us who are raising kids and helping to take care of ailing parents.

All of my fellow group members are children of people living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia, so many of us are concerned about having these diseases in our family history. I was thrilled to be able to present the prevention data in the Four Pillars to this group that has given me so much the past few years.
If you are associated with a group of any kind that would be interested in learning more about brain health and/or dementia prevention, let’s talk! I love to spread the word about the amazing things scientists have discovered about preventing and slowing down Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. If you are interested in a free virtual presentation, please click here and leave me a message. Let’s discuss a presentation that meets your needs.
